SPECTRA Labs Director
I co-lead the Mental Illness and Neuro Digital (MIND) Health theme in the Global Research Institute for Health and Care Technologies. I am interested in how we can use simulated environments, technology and feedback to reduce anxiety and improve performance. I specialise in social cognition, face processing and attention and am currently developing digital mental health research interventions, measures, validation and research project services. Further to this, I am interested in face processing and cognitive biases in social judgments.

“I am excited to have joined the SMILE team as a Research Associate with the university. I earned my MA (Hons) in Psychology in 2020 and completed an MSc in Psychological Research the following year. During my studies, I specialised in Clinical Neuropsychology, focusing on neurodevelopment throughout childhood as well as memory loss in older adults.

My professional experience includes working in mental health settings within both the third sector and the NHS. In these roles, I delivered CBT-based interventions to individuals with mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties.

In addition to my current role, I am actively involved in two research projects at the University of Glasgow. One project investigates sleep disturbances in early-stage psychosis in adults, while the other conducts a systematic review of the long-term physical health outcomes of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
